Interesting that the weight after my monday fast is always the same as after the friday fast 2 days earlier. Well "always" is maybe a bit much since I have only been doing this for 2,5 weeks ;). On the other hand my fat% is 1% lower than it was last saturday so something is different for sure.
I experimented with my eating schedule yesterday. I decided to see how long I could go without eating after lunch (as in lunchtime spinning class, not eating lunch). No breakfast, a banana at 11 (I don't dare trying spinning on an empty stomach). At 3-4pm I was getting a little light headed so I had a clementine (very few cals). That probably wasn't enough because it got worse until I had 1/2 an apple at around 5pm. I then ate with my family, 2 huge bowls of vegetable soup and 2 crisp breads with light cream cheese. I almost couldn't finish the second bowl I was so full. Then it was off to choir practice where I felt so much better than last week. Still a bit uncomfortable when I started getting hungry around 10pm. Came home, had 1/2 a banana and went to bed. 485 calories total, 95 less than I can have on fast day so there is room for a piece of fruit.
So next time I am trying fruit before spinning and then again no later than 3pm. Then a nice low cal dinner with my family and a little fruit again so I won't have trouble sleeping.
I am also wondering if mondays perhaps are too hard/busy for a fast day. Both spinning class and choir practice. Maybe I should try tuesday instead next week. I will use the week to think it over.
